About this Display

June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month! This month was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall riots of June 28, 1969, a tipping point in the U.S. movement for LGBT rights.  Join Simmons College Library in recognizing the significant role that LGBT individuals have played in national and international history. Check out upcoming events for Boston Pride Week (May 31-June 9), including the Boston Pride Parade on Saturday, June 8.

Celebrate LGBT history, art, literature, film, poetry and music with the resources featured in this libguide. View the titles on display in the "Featured Titles" list on the left.
