What is RefWorks?
RefWorks is an online bibliography and citation management tool. You can use RefWorks to contain and organize your research and you can also choose a citation style to generate a bibliography.
The purpose of this Library Guide is to highlight some of the many features offered through RefWorks.
Step One: Set up an Account
You'll find it's easy to create an account with RefWorks! First, open the RefWorks login page.
Click on the 'Sign Up for a New Account' link:
Step Two: Account Information
Enter the requested information. Choose an active email address, and create a login name and password.
You can always edit this information after your account has been created.
Step Three: User Information
Enter your name. Choose an Area of Focus and Type of User from the options listed in the dropdown menu.
Verify the words that appear in the Captcha box and click 'Create Account'.
Congratulations! You now have a RefWorks acount.
