About this Display

Celebrate folklife around the world in honor of the 2013 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, June 26-June 30 and July 3-7 in Washington, D.C. This year's featured festival programs include Hungarian Heritage: Roots to Revival, One World, Many Voices: Endangered Languages and Cultural Heritage, and The Will to Adorn: African American Diversity, Style, and Identity. Initiated in 1967, the Smithsonian Folklife Festival is the largest annual cultural event in the U.S. capital.
