Online Resources

Online resources, including databases, journals, eBooks, and streaming video, will continue to be available online. Chat with us, or email reference@simmons.edu if you are having trouble finding specific resources.

Inter-Library Loan Services

  • Requests are limited to electronic articles
  • Hold on to any ILL books you have at this time. We will attempt to extend the due date for you.
  • Please note that many libraries are closed, so requests may take longer to fill and/or be unavailable for your requested article

How to return materials to the library

All loans have been extended until September 9, 2020. To return materials before the due date, choose one of these options.

In-person: Return materials to the Palace Road Building. The building can be accessed by ringing the doorbell upon arrival or by contacting Public Safety at 617-521-1112.

By mail: Send via USPS media/library mail rate to Simmons University Library, 300 The Fenway, Boston, MA 02115.

Please contact circulation@simmons.edu with any questions.

Purchase Requests

We can only process purchase requests for ebooks and streaming media at this time.

How to borrow materials while the library is inaccessible

Dependent on library staff availability to process requests, physical books can be mailed to your home address.

To borrow: put the item on Hold in our system. See screenshots for more information.
