Find Books

Check the Library Catalog to see if we own the book you want to read. Look for the following icons:

Print Books

You can borrow any book in the Library that isn't marked "Reserve - Library Service Desk."  Find the book in the Catalog, click "Request," and select "Distance Program Non SLIS West" as your pickup location. We'll mail the book to your home.

Reserve Books

If you see "Reserve - Library Service Desk" in the Catalog, we won't be able to mail you the book. Contact the Library to see if we can help you find a copy at a library near you.

Books that Simmons Doesn't Own

To borrow books that the Library don't come up in the Catalog, log into your Interlibrary Loan account and submit a book request. We'll have the book mailed to your home.

Special Note about Textbooks

We know that textbooks are expensive and we do our best to help you keep costs down. It's not feasible for the Library to mail out physical textbooks, but we do purchase ebooks whenever possible. If we don't have your textbook in ebook format, request that we purchase a copy. Not every ebook is available to libraries, but we'll do our best!
