Research web page that seeks to provide a general overview of childhood trauma, along with some resources for further research, training, and understanding.

Child Abuse 
A website containing links to information covering a broad range of topics within child abuse, including symptoms, prevention, treatment, specific conditions, and research. This website can also be accessed in Spanish.

Child Abuse Statistics (University of New England) 
A website geared towards providing a resource guide for social workers. It has links to studies, research, and statistics of child abuse, as well as history and ethics. It also has information for workers in certain areas of the field.

Child Trends 
A resource full of research, current studies, and reports regarding all different aspects of child development, including child abuse information. This website takes a holistic approach to child wellbeing, including resources on topics such as education, parenting, marriage, youth development, health, and other indirectly related topics.

Children Now 
A national organization's website focused on The Children's Movement: an effort toward making the voice of children heard on the national political level. This website contains a wide variety of information including current studies, ongoing research, education, parenting resources, and a campaign raising funds for interest groups and organizations that help contribute to political decisions supporting children.

Internet Resources for Special Children (IRSC) 
This website has a variety of resources concerning disabilities in children. Topics range from learning disabilities to autism to retardation. The website provides information on both topics and treatments.

National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect 
This Cornell website targets professionals in the child maltreatment field and serves as a platform for exchanging information and ideas in the field. It also provides current national data on relevant topics.

The Future of Children 
The Future of Children is published by Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and the Brookings Institution. It covers child health, education and welfare public policy issues.
