This tutorial provides insight on finding research articles for a literature review. Database search techniques are covered and three databases are highlighted: LISA, LISTA, and Library Lit.

Note this needs updating since LISTA and Library Lit are now combined in Library and Information Source (LISS) but the basic searching strategies remain

On March 4th, 2010 Sanda Erdelez gave a presentation for Rong Tang’s doctoral students on the process of developing a literature review as part of doctoral research. Dr. Erdelez is an associate professor at the University of Missouri, and specializes in business and competitive intelligence, legal informatics, and user information needs in e-commerce, e-government, and e-learning.
